Participant Rights & Responsibilities

We at LeaderSpark take a great deal of pride in the programs we offer. It is our goal to assist all of the young people and the partner organizations we serve to meet their individual needs.

 

As a participant in one of the programs LeaderSpark offers, you have rights and responsibilities.

 

These are outlined below.

 

You have the right to:

 

  • Receive quality and respectful care without discrimination or favoritism;

  • Participate in the opportunity to co-create your plan for leadership/employability development;

  • Expect confidentiality of information and protection of your personal information you share one on one with your program facilitator/mentor;

  • Determine how and when information about you is shared with other service providers;

  • Receive services that are respectful of your culture and religion;

  • Maintain the freedom to express your religious and spiritual beliefs

 

You have the responsibility to:

 

  • Create and share the steps you would like to take to achieve your personal/community leadership goals

  • Assist in making and keeping a safe program environment

  • Communicate with staff the best way to keep in contact with you

  • Prepare, Read and Reflect on curriculum activities or suggested reading materials

  • Inform Staff immediately if you have any concerns or problems with the LeaderSpark program.

 

 

If you have an issue or concern about the LeaderSpark program, we encourage you to talk to the program facilitator or email Programs@LeaderSpark.org. If you do not feel the situation is resolved after discussing it with the facilitator, please send a written concern to Kay Wilson, Executive Director kay@LeaderSpark.org or call our office at 614-442-7899.
